Hanchi Moriyama was born in China in 1995 and later completed his education in Japan.
He studied at ESMOD TOKYO and then graduated from ESMOD PARIS, specializing in traditional haute couture under the mentorship of Kanae Taniwaki.
With a tricultural background of Chinese, Japanese, and French influences, he incorporates these cultural perspectives and his reflections on modern society into his designs, aiming to merge haute couture with ready-to-wear.
He interned at the Japanese designer brand Lad Musician.
His work has won the "Best Market Potential" award at the World University Student Fashion Design Competition, was selected for the 94th Soen Prize in Japan, and was included in the 10+3 Overseas Designer Youth Base program at China Fashion Week.
